The single velcro fastener gives an easy on-off as well as that classic school shoe look. The sole is very lightweight and flexible but the best thing is the rubber toe bumper extending slightly over the toe area to help prevent some scuffing. The lining is made from high quality leather and the padded heel offers greater comfort.
